Samantha Pelrine, a Plymouth police officer, has been accused of sexual abuse by her husband, Daniel Forand, over a period of several years. Pelrine was placed on paid administrative leave March 17 due to a criminal investigation into her off-duty conduct. The alleged victim alleges that Pelrine and Forand repeatedly sexually and physically assaulted her over several years, starting when they were given legal guardianship. Both have been ordered not to contact or abuse the alleged victim and stay 100 yards away from them at all times. Both are scheduled to appear in court on March 27.
