Mail theft probe in Yuba City nets 4 arrests, hundreds of stolen items recovered

A multi-week investigation into mail theft in Yuba City led to four arrests and the recovery of hundreds of stolen items, according to the Yuba-Sutter Narcotics and Gang Enforcement Task Force. The suspects were identified as 37-year-old Marcus Brewer and Justine Gallo, who were stopped while stealing mail near Tharp Road and Butte House Road. The search uncovered additional evidence tied to the investigation at a residence in the 1600 block of Nadean Drive, which seized several hundred pieces of stolen mail belonging to 58 Yuba city residences, forged checks, multiple stolen bank cards, and two counterfeit U.S. Postal Service mailbox keys.
