Church Bomb Threat, Fatal Fire, Post-Party Knife Attack: NJ Weekend

A North Jersey church was evacuated after a bomb threat was made and prompted law enforcement to search the property. The caller threatened to detonate two explosive devices if a set of demands were not met. The threat was discovered to be a hoax and an instance of swatting. A fire in Essex County killed a woman and injured two others, with two in critical condition. A man was hit and killed by an NJ Transit train at New Brunswick Station, causing no injuries to the train's passengers and crew.
