United Airlines has announced new fare tiers for United Premium Plus and Polaris on select flights, with a base, standard and flexible categories offering different perks at different price points. The move comes after United announced their new "Relax Row" seating option for economy and checked bag fee hikes. The new premium tiers will be available on United's transcontinental U.S. and long-haul flights, including international and long haul to Hawaii. The airline's base fares will be the lowest, standard fares in the middle, and flexible fares at the top end, offering the most perks. There will be no changes to United Economy, with the basic, standard, flexible categories not changing.
