Dodge Expressway closed due to flooding after Thursday's rainfall

The West Dodge Expressway in Omaha has been closed due to flooding after rainfall in the area. West Dodge Road is westbound at 150th Street and drivers are advised to take an alternate route. The left lane is also blocked for eastbound traffic. The Nebraska Department of Transportation is working to rectify the issue. Scattered rain showers and thunderstorms are expected to continue through Thursday morning before moving out around midday.
