Despite surveillance footage showing a dark-colored Dodge Journey leaving the area, no arrests have been made. Her family has expressed frustration over the lack of progress and communication regarding the case. The rally's organizers, Jazmin Ruiz, a close friend of Herrera and one of the rally organizers, said that early communication with detectives has since stalled. The family is urging anyone with information to come forward.
