Josh Nass, an attorney and conservative lobbyist, is accused of attempting to extort his client and his son into paying half a million dollars after securing a pardon from President Donald Trump. According to charges unsealed, Nass allegedly hired a government cooperating witness to physically assault and threaten the client's son for $15,000, with an initial $3,000 payment. The additional $5,000 will be used to cover any additional men needed for the job. If convicted of attempted extortion, Nass could face up to 20 years in prison. He was released on a $5 million bond co-signed by his father, mother and uncle and will undergo GPS monitoring.
