Yosemite ski resort shuts down early as sweltering heat wave hits

Yosemite's iconic Badger Pass ski area has shut down for the season due to a record-breaking heat wave. The resort only managed about two months of skiing due to limited snowfall. Visitors are allowed limited access to retrieve their gear later in the year. Other ski resorts across the country have also closed due to the heatwave.
