Chef shies from financial questions in Stefon Diggs assault trial
Published on May 5, 2026.
Jamila "Mila" Adams, a woman who worked as a live-in personal chef for former New England Patriots receiver Stefon Diggs, has declined to answer questions about financial demands made on her behalf. Defense attorneys pressed Adams about claims she was owed money and inconsistencies in what she said she was paid. Diggs has pleaded not guilty to a felony strangulation charge and a misdemeanor assault and battery charge stemming from a December incident at his home. Prosecutors argue that the dispute was about wages, not a settlement.
