Republicans are close to expelling Rep. Cory Mills (R-FL) for pocketing millions in federal disaster relief funds and using it to fund her campaign. The House Ethics Committee has found her in violation of House rules and is set to decide her punishment on Tuesday. Speaker Mike Johnson has indicated that the full House will vote on her expulsion soon. Other scandals include domestic violence, threats to release revenge porn, and allegations of stolen valor. Mills has claimed to have attended military sniper school and described being "blown up" twice in Iraq, but these claims are refuted by colleagues who served alongside him in contractor roles. His marriage was performed by a radical Islamist cleric and there are serious questions about whether he converted to Islam around the same time. The only path left is for the House to expel Mills.
