Geauga County Airport breaks ground on expansion

Geauga County Airport has broken ground on a new T-hangar, estimated to cost $1.2 million. The project will benefit the airport from renting out eight aircraft currently on waiting list. Funding for the project was provided through a Federal Aviation Administration grant program and was part of the 2021 Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. The rental income from the new hangar will help maintain existing facilities.
