Jazz singer Laufey reimagines Miles Davis classic 'Blue in Green' for a new generation

Iceland-Chinese jazz singer-songwriter Laufey has reimagined the classic "Blue in Green" for a younger audience. The original composition was part of celebrations marking the centennial of jazz legend Miles Davis. Laufé debuted her version live during a Twitch stream event in Manhattan Beach, California. The 25-year-old musician's passion for jazz music and classical music led her to rework the instrumental track. She added lyrics to it, which she likened to solving a puzzle.
