China Airlines has partnered with The Pokémon Company to unveil its second Pokémon-themed aircraft, the “Pikachu Jet CI2” which will officially enter service on April 2, 2026. The Airbus A350-900 features 13 different Pokémon on its fuselage and will initially operate on the Taoyuan – Tokyo (Narita) and Taoyuran – Seattle routes. The aircraft's design is deeply rooted in local heritage and incorporates elements of Taiwan’s traditional decorative tile culture. The onboard amenities include themed dining tray mats, mixed nuts, paper cups, headrest covers, and pillowcases. Additionally, passengers will receive exclusive gifts.
