Home invasion robbery led to 2022 Snohomish County killing; fourth suspect arrested

A 24-year-old Xavier Chaney has been arrested in connection with a 2022 home invasion homicide in Snohomish County, which left 36 year old woman Irah Sok dead. Chaney was taken into custody by the Violent Offender Task Force and booked into the Snoh Omish County Jail on suspicion of first-degree murder. Three other suspects have previously been charged in the case. The case remained unsolved for several months before detectives developed new leads late in 2022.
