Copilot is ‘for entertainment purposes only,’ according to Microsoft’s terms of service

Microsoft has been criticized for its terms of use for its Copilot, which appear to have been last updated on October 24, 2025. The company warns that Copilot can make mistakes and may not work as intended, and use it at any cost. A spokesperson for the company stated that they will update the "legacy language" used by the product as it has evolved.
