The move comes ahead of the launch of GTA 6 and joins a growing list of video game community wikis seeking alternate hosting due to similar complaints. The main complaint was the aggressive use of ads, which are often hidden when logged in, and the restrictive Community Creation Policy, which restricts offensive language and graphic media. Fandom also allows for community wiki editors to migrate content to new hosts, a feature many have used.
