Anthony Barry, the English coach who has been working alongside Thomas Tuchel, has signed a new contract with the German football club until 2028. Barry's first coaching job after retiring from football was as assistant manager at Wigan before becoming first-team coach at Chelsea, where he was replaced by Frank Lampard when Lampard was sacked in 2021. He also worked with global figures such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Kevin de Bruyne. Barry was reunited with Tuchel when he took him to Bayern Munich in 2023. He is the only English coach in Tuchel's core support staff and is joined by Henrique Hilario, Nico Mayer and James Melbourne.
