Ukraine and Russia accuse each other of thousands of ceasefire violations

The two countries have accused each other of thousands of ceasefire violations during the Easter ceasefire, which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin earlier this week. Vladimir Putin had previously rejected repeated calls from Ukraine for a temporary cessation of fighting. However, Ukraine's Defence Minister, Vladimir Putin, has countered by saying that his forces will continue their attacks on the ground. The conflict, which has been ongoing since 2022, is expected to escalate further.
