Monday in North Texas will be chilly, windy following arrival of weekend cold front

The National Weather Service has warned that Monday will be a chilly day, with temperatures expected to plummet into the 30s and wind chills in the 20s. The high is expected to reach 52 degrees, with strong daytime winds forecast. A wind advisory and red flag and freeze warnings will remain in effect throughout the night. However, a warmup is expected for later in the week.
