The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission held its annual "Mentored Youth Trout Fishing Day" to allow young people to fish for trout ahead of the start of trout fishing season on April 4. The event was started by Andrea and Eric Montgomery, owners of the Dead Lightning Distillery, in memory of their late son, who was an avid trout fisherman. One young participant caught a large palomino trout, a rare catch.
