Sony Hits the Brakes on Electric Cars With Built-In PlayStation Features

Sony Honda Mobility, a joint project between electronics giant Sony and carmaker Honda, has announced that its two planned electric vehicles will not proceed due to Honda's reassessment of its automobile electrification strategy. The Afeela project was designed to be integrated with Sony's PlayStation products and was expected to include features such as Remote Play on in-car displays. The company announced that it was working on an SUV concept in 2028. The full refunds will be paid for those who paid reservation fees in the US.
