A shooting incident occurred at the intersection on South Street near Illinois Street at a White Castle restaurant early Sunday morning. The adult male victim was taken to an area hospital in critical condition and later to a local hospital with a gunshot wound. Police believe all three men are connected to the incident. There is no threat to the community and police believe this incident is an isolated incident.
