Locals react to Spirit Airlines shutdown

The announcement of the discontinuation of operations by Florida-based discount carrier, Spirit, came just before 4 a.m. Saturday, following a failure to secure a $500 million federal bailout. All flights through the company have been cancelled, including those scheduled for regular flights at John Glenn International Airport. Some passengers have been waiting for their flights to be refunded.
