Rajesh Jha, head of Microsoft's experiences and devices group, is retiring after over 35 years at the company. Jha was part of the team that moved Microsoft's Office suite to the cloud and was recently overseeing Microsoft 365 Copilot, Windows, Office, and more. Despite not being directly promoted, Microsoft has promoted four of his direct reports to executive vice president, reporting directly to Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella. This is part of a larger shakeup within Microsoft's upper management, allowing the leaders of Windows and Office to report directly to Nadeella. This announcement comes after former Xbox chief Phil Spencer announced his retirement from Microsoft.
