I tested the Hoka Bondi 9 Road-Running Shoes for the first time, using them on a 4-mile hike straight out of the box. The shoes were recommended by a podiatrist for their cushioning and are by far the most comfortable pair of sneakers I own. They are made of a flexible knit material, which prevents the top of the shoe from rubbing my ankles or causing my feet to overheat.
