Hulu Developing Animated Action Comedy Series ‘The Kids From S.I.P.P.Y.’ From Branson Reese & Nicole Silverberg

Hulu is developing an animated action comedy series from writer-EPs Branson Reese and Nicole Silverberg. The series, which is set to be produced by 20th Television Animation, centers on three misfit high school students recruited for an elite secret spy school. Steven Fisher and Trevor Engelson will executive produce for Underground, alongside Patrick Newman of Mosaic and Tovah Silbermann. The news comes amidst a busy period for Hulu, which has also acquired several animated series.
