Alec Baldwin, a veteran actor known for his outspoken stance on politics and social issues, is reportedly being pushed out of Hollywood due to his toxic reputation. Despite a four-decade career that includes major blockbusters, independent films, and a best-picture Oscar winner, Baldwin continues to work despite his controversial on-set accident in 2021 where he accidentally shot and killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins during a scene for his low-budget Western film, "Rust," killing him and injuring the film's director. Despite being charged with involuntary manslaughter in the shooting, all charges against Baldwin were dismissed with prejudice after a judge found that authorities had deliberately withheld evidence from his attorneys. In an interview with the Hollywood Reporter's Awards Chatter podcast, Baldwin said he doesn't want to work anymore and wants to stay home with his children.
