KTAL/KMSS is celebrating Women's History Month by highlighting remarkable women in its parent company, Nexstar Media Group, in March. Hundreds of women were nominated for the Remarkable Woman of the Year, with six local finalists including Jeannette Sibley, Dana Fergins, Doretha Cann, Debbie Smith, and Sonja Bailes. The winner will be awarded $1,000 from KTAL 6/KmSS 33 to invest in the charity of her choice. Baile's passion for service and creativity have influenced her work with local schools, particularly in Bossier Public Schools. She also established Bossier School’s Day of Caring, where students, teachers, and families gather to do good deeds.
