UCF football will hold a public practice at the end of spring camp on May 2 at Acrisure Bounce House Stadium instead of hosting a traditional spring game. This is the second consecutive spring under coach Scott Frost, who returned to the program after an eight-year absence. The university initially opposed hosting a spring game last season, but this has since been eliminated due to offseason changes. Concerns about the potential for showcasing talent remain over the broadcast of spring games, which are often broadcast on TV and often national television. The public practice could limit space in the stadium due to ongoing construction work on the Roth Tower renovation.
