RFK Jr.’s vaccine adviser under scrutiny ahead of key vaccine meeting

Retsef Levi, a top adviser to Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and former Israeli intelligence officer, has been criticized for publishing misleading vaccine research and advocating anti-vaccine agendas. Critics question the methodology, validity, and implications of these papers. Levi was appointed to a task force leading the COVID vaccine recommendation in 2025, part of a broader overhaul of the advisory committee on immunization practices (ACIP), which Kennedy replaced with allies like Levi who called COVID vaccines "the most failing medical product in the history of medical products". The ACIP is set to meet on March 18 and 19 to discuss COVID-19 vaccines and potentially recommend further changes to the childhood immunization schedule.
