Mary N. Dillon, former CEO of Foot Locker, Ulta Beauty, and U.S. Cellular, has been named chairwoman of Save the Children, a Connecticut-based nonprofit that aims to improve the lives of children in the United States and over 100 countries worldwide. The role comes at a pivotal moment for the century-old organization, which raises nearly $1 billion in annual revenue but lost roughly $300 million in federal funding last year due to foreign aid cutbacks. Dillon's primary focus will be strengthening the organization's long-term financial model by expanding private fundraising and launching a new capital campaign. She has previously served on the board of trustees since 2025.
