A motorcyclist is dead after being rear-ended on Interstate 75 in Marion County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The accident occurred around 9:23 p.m. on I-75 South near mile marker 349, just south of State Road 200. The woman, who was riding her motorcycle south on the interstate, was hit by an SUV and taken to a local hospital where she died. The drivers of the car and SUV were uninjured.
