OpenAI and the Pentagon have agreed to strengthen their contract following widespread backlash over potential mass surveillance. The agreement states that the AI system shall not be intentionally used for domestic surveillance of U.S. persons and nationals. The language has not yet been formally signed. This comes after the Pentagon's deal with Anthropic for national security ended in controversy.
