Disney's Asteria neighborhood will feature Peter Pan-themed amenities

Disney has revealed details about its upcoming residential neighborhood project, Asteria, in Chatham County, which will add 4,000 housing units to Chatham Park outside Pittsboro, North Carolina. The project is part of a larger effort by developers to revitalize Chatham county, which is expected to become one of the biggest growth spots in the country over the next two decades. Asteria will be built around the Second Star Club, a social center for the 1,500-acre neighborhood. The home sales are expected to begin in 2027 and the amenities will be completed in 2028.
