Charlie Wyke: Striker among 13 players released by Carlisle

The 33-year-old striker, Charlie Wyke, has been released by Carlisle United following his final game of the season. He made his comeback in January after a broken leg and ankle and made eight appearances this season. Wyke is one of 13 players leaving the club following a defeat by Boreham Wood in the end-of-season play-offs. Despite not being offered a new deal, Sam Hetherington has been invited to participate in pre-season training.
