Second-year swingman Jaylon Tyson was forced to leave a game against the Chicago Bulls due to a fluke toe injury. The injury occurred during the final 9:09 of the fourth quarter as the Cavs were trying to avoid a late-game collapse. Tyson, who has seen his role decrease since the roster shakeup in early February, had been struggling with mental lapses, blown assignments, and other game-plan mistakes. Despite this, Cleveland coach Kenny Atkinson decided to put Tyson in the starting lineup to jumpstart his career. Despite the injury, Tyson remained on the floor for several plays and eventually went to the locker room for further examination.
