Florida City Police have released body camera footage showing the arrest of Homestead Police Officer Henry Quintero, who is accused of DUI in relation to a hit-and-run incident in September. The incident occurred near U.S. 1 and East Palm Drive and was reported by a good Samaritan who witnessed the crash. The good Samaritans reported the incident to police and began following Quinto in his white Toyota 4Runner. The footage was released a month after the incident, showing Quinteros being placed in cuffs and later handed over to a woman who claimed the car he hit was not the one he hit. The arrest report stated that Quinterobo displayed a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and displayed "slurred speech" when approached by officers and refused sobriety tests.
