Gulf states hesitate on response to Iran after regime launches more than 2,000 missiles and drones

Despite over 2,000 missiles and drones launched by Iran's regime towards Gulf states two weeks into the war, a retaliatory strike against Iran still does not appear imminent. Sources from Gulf states have expressed concern about the "day after", stating that there are many unanswered questions about how the war will end and that if the regime ends, Gulf states would have to maintain a relationship with Tehran. The fear of an escalation in Iranian strikes could lead to an expansion of the list of targets that might be hit with missiles and drones. Despite all six Gulf countries being attacked, there is no clear consensus on how to respond to Iran.
