EVO Entertainment is set to bring the world's largest movie theater screen to Clearwater, Florida, for a $50 million flagship family entertainment complex. The $50m project will anchor a two-level, 83,000-square-foot entertainment destination at the corner of Cleveland Street and Myrtle Avenue in downtown Clearwater. The development will be EVO Entertainment’s flagship location, featuring a seven-screen multiplex built around a screen over 130 feet wide. The current world record is held at the Traumpalast Multiplex in Germany. The Clearwater venue will also become the first multiplex in the world where every auditorium is equipped with both Dolby Vision projection and Dolby Atmos sound. The project is part of a broader downtown revival, along with affordable housing, streetscape improvements, and expanded programming at Coachman Park.
