Former CNN White House Correspondent, Jim Acosta, and IATSE Chief Matthew Loeb have called for the Federal Film/TV Tax Credit. They were speaking at a gathering at Burbank City Hall, where Acosta warned of the rise of entertainment industry oligarchs and "media domination". He also criticized David Ellison's $111 billion pending purchase of Warner Bros Discovery, the owners of CNN, and CBS News. The event was part of Sen. Adam Schiff's Lights, Camera, Competition Promoting American Film Production event. Despite this, both Trump and Schiff are on the same track when it comes to Hollywood production in America. Loeb and Wyle also called for a federal program to supplement state incentives for U.S. production.
