Kimball High School has advanced to the 4A-I state final after defeating Canyon West Plains 67-53. Senior Kayden Gray scored 15 of his game-high 26 points in the first half, while Kimball overcame early turnovers. The team's lead grew as high as 20 at 41-21 in the third quarter. Despite a 13-5 run from West Plains, Kimball managed to maintain its double-digit lead in the fourth quarter. The winning team will face Fort Bend Crawford in the next round.
