'Good Morning America''s Sam Champion Gives Update from His Hospital Bed After Undergoing Procedures at Heart Hospital

Good Morning America weatherman, Sam Champion, underwent a procedure at the Mount Sinai Fuster Heart Hospital in New York City following a "nuclear stress test" that led him to seek medical help. Champion updated his fans on Instagram with a photo of himself smiling and waving from his hospital bed. He thanked Dr. Lerakis and Dr.sharma and the team of nurses at the hospital. Champion is expected to make a full recovery and is receiving lots of support from his GMA colleagues. This isn't the first time Champion has updated viewers on his health, in 2000 when he had surgery for skin cancer treatment.
