Job Seekers Say Apple, Microsoft, and Meta Are Among the Worst for Ghosting Applicants. Now There’s a Website Tracking It

A new crowdsourced directory, DidTheyGhostYou.com, has been launched to publicly criticize major employers for cutting off communication with job applicants. The website allows jobseekers to report companies that stop communication during the interview process and also recognize companies for being "good communicators". Currently, 25 companies are listed as the "Most Reported" for ghosting candidates, including Apple, Microsoft, Capital One, Salesforce, and Meta. The survey by recruitment testing company, Criteria, also revealed that 53 percent of jobseekers reported being ghosted by a company within the last year. The site's founder, Inc., has not responded to a request for comment.
