A cartoonist wrote his wife a love letter in 1913. It unfolds into a tiny art gallery built just for her.

American cartoonist Alfred Joseph Frueh has created a miniature art gallery out of his love letter to his wife, Giuliette Fanciulli. The artwork was designed to simulate the experience of being in the gallery and was used to prepare her for a gallery marathon in Paris. The letter is now in the Smithsonian's Archives of American Art.
