Rebel Wilson is being sued by The Deb actress Charlotte MacInnes for defamation over Instagram posts alleging that MacInennes complained about Amanda Ghost after they shared a bath together in 2023. MacInens' lawyers have accused Wilson of hiring Melissa Nathan, the American publicist of The Agency Group (TAG), to launch websites that smeared Ghost. Wilson has consistently denied these allegations. The alleged smear campaign included a site claiming that an actress had been rewarded for remaining silent about the abuse she experienced at Ghost's hands. The case continues at the Federal Court of Australia in Sydney.
