Utah gymnastics wins regional semifinal, advances to Sunday’s final

Utah's gymnastics team won their NCAA regional semifinal against Southern Utah, despite being labelled as an underdog due to their No. 12 ranking. The Red Rocks were the best team in their session and their confidence carried over to each event. The win means Utah is advancing with No. 5 Alabama (197.225) and No. 25 Oregon State (196.375) to the regional final. Utah's highest score came in the third rotation on floor, with Ashley Glynn and Avery Neff leading with a season high of 9.9. The team's overall score was 49.35 on beam, with Neff posting a 9.925 and Abbi Ryssman and Ana Padurariu adding 9.85.
