Liverpool, Sunderland to play in Nashville in Premier League preseason friendly

Liverpool and Sunderland are set to play a preseason friendly in Nashville on July 25. The match will be held at Geodis Park, which is part of a larger tour of the United States ahead of the 2026-27 EPL season. This is the second time an English club has visited Nashville, after Nashville SC faced Aston Villa in a friendly in 2025. Liverpool is the defending Premier League champion and its stars include Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah and Dutch defender Virgil Van Dijk.
