The 2025-26 season of the Big Ten men's basketball season saw Michigan win the league by four games and added to its dominance with Yaxel Lendeborg being named Big Ten Player of the Year by a panel of USA TODAY Network voters. Despite not being the only unanimous first-team All-Big Ten selection, LENDeborg also won Big Ten Newcomer of Year ahead of Illinois's Keaton Wagler. Michigan's Aday Mara was voted Big Ten Defensive Player of The Year, while Nebraska's Fred Hoiberg edged Michigan's Dusty May for Coach of The Championship. The awards were voted by USA TODAY network reporters covering the conference.
