Lawmakers are near a deal to end the partial government shutdown, but Democrats are demanding more concessions on immigration enforcement. A report reveals that Florida leads the way in immigration arrests by ICE agents in 2026, with about 120 arrests per day. Meanwhile, hundreds of TSA agents have walked off the job due to unpaid wages. The only airport with ICE agents assisting is Southwest Florida International Airport.
