Speed cameras with no flash or road markings coming to London

High-tech speed cameras that do not require road markings are being trialled in parts of London as part of plans to reduce road casualties. The cameras use advanced 4D imaging radar and can also capture distance, elevation and direction. Transport for London (TfL) and the Metropolitan Police are working together to upgrade the camera network. The Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) also supports this move, calling for enforcement to focus on drivers illegally using mobile phones.
